Epcot 2011 Flower and Garden Festival Coverage

Hi folks and welcome to our 2011 Flower and Garden coverage. We will start with photos of the entrance to the park. Enjoy!

One of the really cool things about the entrance is Lotso actually sprays out Strawberry scents.

Take a look below at many of the flowers on display in Future World.

This years butterfly house has been tripled in size and moved to the opposite side of Future World.

It gets very busy in the Butterfly House...

Bambi and Thumper have also made the Butterfly House home this year.

The opposite side of Future World hosts the newly expanded Tinkerbell section of the festival. Check out the photos below.

There is also a playground for small children.

Last years festival featured a Tiana’s bayou section. This has been replaced with the Sounds of Nature. This is not a real improvement in my opinion.

Inside the Festival Center you can find many lectures and also merchandise from the event. Every weekend the main stage will host a HGTV personality which draws more crowds than this small area can accommodate.

Heading towards World Showcase you will find the Hundred Acres Woods. This area features the many characters of Winnie the Pooh.

Also near the entrance to World Showcase is another larger playground for the older children.

The following will be random images from all over World Showcase. Enjoy!

Many more pictures and stories coming to you next week. But below is my shot of the day. A really dedicated fan! Have a magical week!
